Just on the low end, that's about 5000 people going unemployed, 10,000 unemployed on the high end. 5,000 to 10,000 jobs gone, that's incredible, with millions of people still without work.

We all know Sears/Kmart isn't going anywhere, they're just cutting back costs. But while they're closing brick and mortar stores, they're still thriving virtually...trust me on this one. Remember Circuit City? They closed all stores, but pull them up online, BAM..still in business. Blockbuster Video, same thing, no stores, online still going. Blockbuster also have video vending dispensers like Red Box, cashing in on that and NetFlix. Don't believe everything the media says, they are the government and huge Corporate scare tactic. They want to scare us into submission to spend more money or give up our livelihood for pennies so they can cash in and get richer and keep us mystified!

With Sears/Kmart closing all of those stores, you would think they're hurting. No, they have well over 5,000 stores not including warehouses. Now, here's what's going on; quiet as kept, I know for a fact that even though these stores are closing, Sears is still hiring!!

How?

Well, they are still a multibillion dollar business, racking up millions in sales daily. Whether it's online, catalog purchases, or over the phone, they're still a top five, if not the second largest retailer in existence! So how are they hiring? They're hiring people to work from home taking customer service calls and handling some other behind the scenes work for them.

It only makes sense! Let's say, it takes $1 million per month to run one store, 120 stores is $120 million per month, or over $1.4 billion a year. So, they close those stores and save that money. So, 10,000 people at $20 per hour is about $32 Million per month or $384 million per year, a Sears savings of over $1 billion a year!! An extra $1 billion dollars straight to the bottom line, which would then turn over new opportunities for people to work from home as they edge further and further toward this business model as so many other companies are doing and are very successful with it.
